The ESD Wrist Band Monitor is a valid safety device that is continuously testing the performance of the grounding of the wrist straps in an area that is electrostatic discharge (ESD)-shielded. It ensures that operators of delicate electronic components do not lose ground at a given point in time and the damage caused by static electricity is minimised. The monitor can also give real-time warning messages by displaying visual LED indicators and alarms whenever the levels of resistance are out of the safe range to indicate bad contact or misuse.
